Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus was established as a legal face in accordance with the Presidential Decree of May 5, 2010 № 236 "On creation of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision and making additions and changes to some decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus". Department is a part of the central office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, endowed with state authority and exercising control and supervision in the field of animal health, the quality of food raw materials and food products, seed, plant protection.
